FLOATING EYEWEAR

WHO WE ARE. THE SHORT STORY.

Tommy “the Bomber” Bonacci founded Bomber Eyewear back in 1997. The six-time World Champion Jet Ski Racer made his first pair of floating sunglasses from torn off pieces of foam padding from jet skis. Now, our family-run company uses this patented foam lining technology to offer water sports enthusiasts, fishermen and everyone in between eyewear that is comfortable, durable, stylish and able to float.

THE BOMBER TECHNOLOGY

EVA FOAM LINING

All of our floating eyewear comes with our patented feature EVA Lining to adapt to active lifestyles without sacrificing any comfort

POLARISED and with a HYDROPHOBIC FILM

Injected , Multi layered decentered lenses comply with the international sunglasses lenses standard and UV400 UV Sunglasses lenses standard. The inner layer is polarizing film providing more than 99% of the polarising effect of absorbing glare. The hard coating outer layers bond and protect lenses from the Harsh environment. The second inner layer is the UV400 layer absorbing more than 99% of UV Ultraviolet Rays.

SAFETY PROTECTION

Our safety glasses lines are designed to protect you from various hazards using OSHA-approved polycarbonate lenses and UV Shielding

We offer our shades in several varieties. With categories including polarized, paddling, fishing, and kid's sunglasses - something for everyone. All of our eyewear comes with our patented snug-fit floating technology and hard coatings to protect them from scratches.

We also offer a Safety Line of shades that meet ANSI Z87+ and impact-resistant standards and feature polycarbonate lenses. Our flexible frames, coupled with Bomber’s patented foam lining technology is what makes our eyewear ideal for comfort while keeping them lightweight. We also have wrap-around styles that provide protection against debris, wind and glare. Polarized options, bifocal lenses and a large variety of custom lenses are available.

We're pretty much just a mesh of fun, function, safety, and water.

MORE THAN JUST A SUNGLASS

We know everyone has their favorite pricey sunglasses from some hot designer brand. We are not here to replace those favorites. Instead of risking your faves when fishing, cycling, boating, paddling, doing construction – pretty much anything that requires thrashing around in - put ours on. It's kind of like 'insurance' against both eye injury and breaking or losing your favorite pair of sunglasses in the water. Just saying.
